Our tip of the week #4 spoke about how replacing your tub shower valve cartridge can correct a squealing shower or tub, but did you know that a bad cartridge can also cause leaks and drips from any faucet or shower?

One of the most common repeat calls we get for our service department related to faucet problems is for drips and running faucets caused by a bad cartridge.

One of the big problems we have here in Arizona is hard water, hard water is very damaging to plumbing fixtures because of the build-up of scale that will eventually cause the parts to fail. To prevent this problem you may consider have a water treatment system installed in your home.
